Your mission
Drive assortment planning based on the analysis of sales data, seasonality and trend developments. Analyse market and target audience trends and derive strategic recommendations for overarching range planning
Develop the overall merchandising strategy including assortment architecture, category logic and prioritisation of product groups
Define and continuously improve standards for product attributes, visual language, descriptions and brand placement. Conduct regular analyses and A/B tests and derive optimisation measures for both assortment and product presentation
Act as a strategic sparring partner for quality management, pricing and operational range maintenance
Work closely with Marketing, CRM and Social Media to ensure optimal product presentation across all channels
Coordinate with IT, Product Management and UX/UI to further develop product search, filter logic, category pages and landing pages
Monitor customer feedback and fashion KPIs such as return rate and sell-through rate, and derive improvement measures accordingly
Your profile
Several years of professional experience in merchandising, category management and/or demand planning in e-commerce with a focus on the fashion industry
A degree with a business or fashion-related background is desirable (e.g. Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Retail or E-Commerce, Textile and Apparel Management)
Proven experience in assortment design, buying control and customer-centric product presentation
A strong eye for clothing product details and customer needs
Experience in building dashboards and analysing large datasets for the purpose of assortment optimisation
Hands-on experience with BI and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau)
A thorough and independent way of working, excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Fluent English skills; German, French or Polish is a plus
A high degree of initiative, creativity and a strong hands-on mentality
