To deliver this mission, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Product to lead our Books & Media product team.
The Head of Product – Books & Media leads the strategic and operational product development efforts for the Books & Media (B&M) business unit at momox SE. In this role, you will manage a team of four Product Owners, overseeing both our own and 3rd party buying and selling channels, and will be responsible for aligning product strategies with the company’s vision of delivering a superior second-hand shopping experience.
This position combines leadership, strategy, and a hands-on approach to drive the growth of momox’s own e-commerce platforms and marketplace integrations across multiple international markets.

- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and implement a customer-centric product strategy focused on international expansion, increasing customer lifetime value (CLV), and seamless coordination across platforms. Translate high-level business objectives into actionable, data-driven roadmaps
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and professional growth. Promote product management best practices to drive impactful results
- Execution & Roadmap Delivery: Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards. Monitor progress, adapt to business changes, and manage risks effectively
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central coordinator between teams such as engineering, marketing, data analytics, and operations to ensure alignment and integration of efforts. Support joint initiatives with marketing, pricing, and logistics
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage performance metrics and analytics to inform product decisions, validate hypotheses, and foster a culture of experimentation through A/B testing and user research
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with leadership, providing regular updates on product progress, challenges, and successes. Proactively identify risks and devise mitigation strategies

- Product & Team Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading and managing product teams, both functionally and disciplinarily
- Strategic Product Development: Several years of experience in developing and executing product strategies aligned with business objectives in fast-paced environments
- Domain Expertise: 5+ years in e-commerce, online marketplaces, or related sectors, with deep expertise in the European e-commerce landscape and its trends
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Expertise in leveraging analytics tools and frameworks (e.g., OKRs, KPIs) to transform data insights into actionable product improvements
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of agile methodologies, modern product management tools, and e-commerce platform complexities, including third-party marketplace integrations
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Execution Focus: Proven ability to prioritize initiatives, ensuring timely, budget-conscious product development while maintaining high-quality standards
